5. Lahij

It is believed that the legendary Manomax hat, worn by Russian tsars for centuries, was made here. Lahij is especially famous for making cold steel and copper vessels decorated with carved ornaments. To this day, dozens of craftsmen continue the ancestral art in their workshops, making a variety of household items in front of the eyes of impressed tourists. Today, Lahij is a state-protected historical and architectural monument, and the appearance of the settlement has been preserved in its original condition.
